Pack It

In general, everyone overpacks (even me)! You will use much less than you think. Please pack in a soft duffle bag versus a rigid carry on suitcase. Soft duffle bags store better on a boat!

Nice to Haves

  • Book, ipad, ipod, or other entertainment

  • Headphones

  • Ear plugs

  • Personal water bottle

  • Personal thermos

  • External battery charger

  • Charging cables

  • Camera (if you don’t have a smart phone)

  • Hiking boots

  • Headlamp

  • Hair ties (it’s windy!)

  • Slippers / warm socks (the floor can get chilly)

Don’t Even Think About It

  • High heels or other impractical shoes

  • Shoes that leave marks

  • Lots of dressy clothes (We keep one blouse or button down on the boat)

  • Flowy clothes - they are likely to get caught in things!

  • Jewelry – especially dangly things. They will just get caught on something

  • Hair dryer or hair straightener. Okay, you COULD bring this. But, it will only work if we are on shore power

  • Perfume, cologne, or other smelly products (it’s a small confined space)
